What is FBA?

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a respected freight forwarding program that's part of the Amazon Supply Chain. With FBA, a merchant ships products directly to Amazon warehouses across the country for fulfillment. FBA offers several advantages over direct shipping, with deliveries arriving faster, products selling quicker, and logistics much easier to manage.

How FBA works in three simple steps:

1. We pick up your inventory.

2. We do all the prep work.

3. We ship your goods to Amazon.

 

Comprehensive FBA prep solutions

After an international shipment arrives, preparation work is needed before your goods are moved to an Amazon warehouse. This stage is necessary for many reasons, and it's an important part of our service. FBA prep involves various inspection, packaging, and labeling services based on Amazon’s stringent guidelines. At SHIPIT Logistics, our team will get your items ready and deal with all aspects of compliance.
 

We prepare your goods to survive Amazon’s robots and conveyor systems, packaging everything carefully to survive drop tests and sharp edges. We also add correct labeling based on Amazon specifications, including suffocation warning labels for plastic bags, notices for items sold as a set, and relabeling on top of bubble wrap. We use FNSKU labels with Amazon’s proprietary barcodes to ensure seamless integration and total compliance.

International Ocean and Air Freight Forwarding

We provide international ocean and airfreight services, direct from the supplier to our warehouse. If you want to receive cargo via ocean transportation, we offer FCL and LCL services. We also have dedicated airfreight options, so you can find the perfect solution for your shipment.

• Full container load (FCL) is an exclusive shipping option, with each container having freight for a single party. There are many advantages to this arrangement, including faster shipping times and lower delivery and insurance costs. Because FCL shipments involve cargo for a single party, there is no need to open containers along the way and far fewer delays.

• Less than container load (LCL) is a non-exclusive shipping option, with each container having freight for multiple parties. There are also benefits to this arrangement, including greater flexibility around shipment sizes and lower warehousing and inventory costs. However, LCL arrangements can involve higher costs and longer time frames.

• We also provide airfreight forwarding services from the supplier directly to our warehouse. This is a flexible solution with a range of benefits, from increased convenience to faster delivery and cheaper distribution. If you deal with smaller or infrequent loads, this service can be a major advantage.
